Lead Robotics Engineer

Purpose of the role:

Incumbent will be part of our ambitious Advanced Robotics team, which is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of robotics and launch new products. Some of the products developed by this team include Collaborative Robot, Quadruped (Trakr), Bi-Ped Robot. In this role you would need to select and apply advanced AI techniques (Reinforcement learning, deep learning, imitation learning, SLAM etc) and develop training and data collection systems, supervise algorithm evaluation in simulated environments, and implement these solutions on robots to develop real-world applications.                                                     

Technical Skills Required:

1. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and CUDA for developing and optimizing AI models. 
2. Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and scikit-learn. • Solid understanding of reinforcement learning, deep learning, and other machine learning algorithms. 
3. Some experience with Foundation Models; Physical AI; Visual Language Action (VLA Models) is recommended.   
4. Knowledge of robotics sensors (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, IMUs) Robot Operating System (ROS)  and integration with AI models for perception, manipulation and decision-making. 
5. Hands-on experience in developing AI algorithms for real-time applications in robotic platforms. 
6. Ability to work with large datasets, perform model evaluation, and optimize AI models for computational efficiency and real-time performance.
