We are looking for a CNC Technician to run in-house machining for our unmanned aerial platforms. You will work directly with the design team to take parts from CAD to finished component, with responsibility for accuracy, repeatability and surface quality. This is a hands-on shop floor role in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Responsibilities:

Convert CAD models into machine-ready G-code, including toolpath strategy, tool selection, feeds and speeds
Set up, operate and maintain high-end CNC machines (3-axis and above)
Machine components in aluminium, steel and composites to drawing tolerances
Perform surface finishing operations and ensure parts meet specified finish requirements
Inspect finished parts using standard metrology tools and correct deviations at source
Maintain tooling, fixtures and machine health; flag consumable and spares requirements
Work with the design team on manufacturability feedback before parts are released
