Role Overview
The HPC Engineer role at BQP focuses on improving the performance and scalability of large-scale simulation workloads. You will work on real engineering problems involving CPU, GPU, and distributed computing systems.
As part of the HPC team, you will collaborate with simulation and platform engineers to profile applications, optimize parallel execution, and improve computational efficiency across modern HPC architectures.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
* Profile and optimize large-scale simulation workloads
* Improve scalability across CPU, GPU, and MPI-based systems
* Implement parallel algorithms using MPI and OpenMP
* Work with GPU programming models such as CUDA, SYCL, or OpenACC
* Required Qualifications / Skills
* Strong foundation in C++
* Experience with MPI and OpenMP
* Exposure to GPU programming frameworks
* Understanding of performance optimization concepts
