Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Reports To: Lead – Systems Engineer
Job Summary
The Spacecraft Mission Specialist will play a critical role in the planning, analysis, and execution of
spacecraft missions. This position requires hands -on expertise in Systems Tool Kit (STK) software to
model, simulate, and analyze mission scenarios, orb its, and spacecraft operations. The ideal candidate
will collaborate with cross -functional teams to ensure mission success, from concept development
through operational phases.
Key Responsibilities
> •
Mission Planning and Analysis : Utilize STK software to design and simulate spacecraft
trajectories, orbits, and mission scenarios, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
> •
Orbit Determination and Propagation : Perform orbital analysis, including propagation,
maneuver planning, and collision avoidance.
> •
Scenario Modeling : Develop and validate mission models to evaluate spacecraft performance,
sensor coverage, and communication link budgets.
> •
Data Analysis : Analyze simulation outputs to provide actionable insights for mission
optimization and risk mitigation.
> •
Collaboration : Work closely with systems engineers, payload specialists, and ground
operations teams to integrate mission requirements into STK models.
> •
Documentation : Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation to
communicate mission plans and analysis results to stakeholders.
> •
Tool Optimization : Customize and script STK scenarios using MATLAB, Python, or STK’s
Connect interface to enhance analysis efficiency.
> •
Operational Support : Provide real -time support during mission execution, including
monitoring spacecraft performance and updating STK models as needed. Qualifications
> •
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics,
or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience :
> o
3+ years of experience in spacecraft mission planning, orbital mechanics, or
astrodynamics.
> o
Proven hands -on experience using STK / custom software for mission design, orbit
analysis, or spacecraft operations.
> •
Technical Skills :
> o
Proficiency in STK (including modules such as Astrogator, Coverage, and
Conjunction Analysis).
> o
Familiarity with orbital mechanics, satellite operations, and mission design principles.
> o
Experience with scripting in Python, MATLAB, or STK Connect for automation and
analysis.
> o
Knowledge of satellite communication systems, sensor systems, or propulsion
systems is a plus.

Certifications: STK certifications are a plus.

Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in India.

Background in spacecraft operations or ground segment engineering.

Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
