Qualification and Experience: M. Tech/M.Sc. (Biochemistry/life sciences) with 2-5 years of experience.
Functional responsibilities:
· · Hands-on experience in preparing and analyzing samples using HPLC, LC-MS, and GC/GC-MS, including standardization of extraction/concentration protocols for analytes. Experience in method development and optimization is preferred.
· Multistep enzymatic reaction setup and optimization at lab scale for high-value molecules with flavor, fragrance, and nutraceutical properties.
· Responsible for routine protein estimation assays such as Bradford and BCA methods, and glucose estimation using HPLC and DNS methods.
· Perform enzyme assays and kinetics using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
· Analysis, documentation, and reporting of experimental data, along with preparation of SOPs.
· Periodic maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments.
· Operation of liquid handling systems for high-throughput screening assays.
Secondary competence:
· Ensure all project-related documentation is maintained in the form of reports/presentations, along with team compliance. Responsible for training team members on SOPs, analytical procedures, and data recording.
· Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
