GalaxEye Space is on a mission to revolutionize Earth Observation through cutting-edge multi-sensor satellite technology.
We are looking for Satellite Operators to join our Mission Operations Center and take part in real-time satellite control and mission execution.


As a Satellite Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, commanding, and maintaining our satellites’ health and performance. This position demands technical precision, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate satellite systems using ground control interfaces.

  • Monitor satellite health, telemetry, and performance during satellite passes.

  • Coordinate with engineering, mission planning, and data processing teams.

  • Detect anomalies, troubleshoot, and follow operational protocols to maintain mission continuity.

  • Maintain detailed logs, checklists, and reports to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Basic understanding of satellite systems, orbital mechanics, and RF communications.

  • Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting languages (Python/Bash), and telemetry tools.

  • Ability to analyze telemetry data and perform system health assessments.

  • Prior internship or experience in satellite operations, mission control, or aerospace research projects is an advantage.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Willingness to work in shift-based operations, including weekends or holidays if mission-critical.
