At GalaxEye Space, we are pioneering the next
generation of Earth observation solutions with our cutting-edge satellite
technology. As a fast-growing space-tech startup, our mission is to
revolutionize the way we gather, process, and deliver geospatial intelligence.
Join us to become a part of an agile, high-impact team working at the forefront
of space innovation.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Verification
& Validation (V&V) Lead to lead our satellite testing function,
test-data systems, and digital twin development. You will set the technical
direction for verification and validation across the program and manage a team
of V&V engineers.
You will own the test strategy and readiness
for satellite hardware, define the approach for test-data systems (logging,
visualisation, and reporting software), and own the digital twin roadmap. You
will work closely with sub-system technical leads, the AIT (Assembly,
Integration & Test) team, and program management to ensure verification
activities support program milestones.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the verification and validation strategy and test
readiness across the program, including thermal vacuum (TVAC), vibration (VIB),
and electromagnetic interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC) test campaigns.
• Define the approach and architecture for test-data
systems, and direct and review the development of data logging, UI, and
reporting software.
• Own
the roadmap for the satellite digital twin (a virtual model of the satellite
used for simulation and analysis).
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of V&V engineers,
including planning, task allocation, and review.
• Interface with sub-system technical leads, the AIT
team, and program management on verification planning, status, and risk.
• Establish
and maintain test plans, procedures, and documentation standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's
degree (B.Tech / B.E) in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace,
Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• Master's
degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Skills & Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in hardware/environmental
testing and software development, including experience leading or managing a
technical team.
• Strong software development background, with the
ability to define the approach for and review data logging, UI, and reporting
applications. [Specify required languages / frameworks / tools.]
• Deep
experience with data handling, databases, and data visualisation.
• Experience defining or leading digital twin,
simulation, or modelling work.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills,
including the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach
to test records and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and teams in a
fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with spaceborne or satellite systems is a
strong advantage.
