Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Design and implement guidance laws and control algorithms
- Develop navigation systems using IMU, GNSS, and sensor fusion techniques
- Build and tune Kalman filters, PID controllers, and trajectory correction logic
- Work on mid-course and terminal guidance systems
- Integrate algorithms into real-time embedded systems
- Run SIL/HIL simulations and validate performance through field testing
- Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and mechanical teams for system integration
- Debug and optimize guidance and navigation performance
- Assist in transitioning solutions from simulation to real-world deployment
- Analyze system behavior and improve accuracy, stability, and reliability

Responsibilities
- Design and develop guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms
- Implement and optimize control systems for stability and performance
- Develop navigation stack using IMU, GNSS, and sensor fusion
- Build and tune estimation and control models (Kalman filters, PID, etc.)
- Integrate algorithms into real-time embedded systems
- Perform simulations (SIL/HIL) and validate with real-world testing
- Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and mechanical teams
- Analyze system performance and improve accuracy and robustness
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across software and hardware layers
Must Have
- Strong foundation in control systems & state estimation
- Experience with IMU integration, sensor fusion, drift correction
- Hands-on coding in C/C++ / Python / MATLAB
- Experience with real-time systems (PX4 / Ardupilot / custom stacks)
- Ability to move from simulation → hardware → field testing
Nice to Have
- Experience in missiles, UAVs, or high-speed systems
- Knowledge of vision-based navigation / GPS-denied environments
- Exposure to anti-jamming techniques
- Built something real — not just simulated
