Day-to-day Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Lead complete product development lifecycle from concept to production.
    • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Track dependencies and ensure timely completion of activities.
    • Drive project execution using Agile and Stage-Gate methodologies where applicable.

    • Cross-functional Coordination

    • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electronics, Embedded, Software, Composite, Manufacturing, Procurement, QA, and Flight Testing teams.
    • Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly project reviews.
    • Resolve technical and operational bottlenecks.
    • Ensure seamless communication between engineering and production teams.

    • Defence Product Development

    Manage projects involving:

    • Loitering Munitions
    • FPV Systems
    • ISR Drones
    • VTOL Platforms
    • Autonomous Ground Systems
    • Payload Integration
    • Launcher Systems
    • Ground Control Stations
    • Mission Software

    • Program Monitoring

    • Maintain project dashboards.
    • Track KPIs and project health.
    • Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
    • Escalate critical issues proactively.

    • Documentation

    • Maintain project documentation.
    • Prepare design review reports.
    • Track Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO).
    • Maintain BOM release status.
    • Ensure document control for defence compliance.

    • Procurement & Vendor Coordination

    • Coordinate procurement of critical components.
    • Track supplier deliveries.
    • Manage vendor timelines.
    • Support vendor qualification activities.

    • Testing & Validation

    • Coordinate prototype builds.
    • Plan subsystem testing.
    • Support field trials.
    • Monitor corrective actions after testing.

    • Quality & Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Support ISO and defence quality processes.
    • Coordinate design reviews and verification activities.

    • Stakeholder Management

  • Present project status to leadership.
  • Coordinate with customers, partners, and government agencies when required.
  • Prepare executive project reports.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in drone design, assembly, and testing
  • Work on aerodynamics and propulsion
  • Support flight testing and data collection
Must Have
  • Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Robotics
  • Basic understanding of UAV fundamentals
  • Knowledge of CAD tools
Nice to Have
  • Experience with drone building
  • Knowledge of flight controllers
  • 3D printing or fabrication tools
