A) Applications are invited for admission to the Master of Science (M.Sc.) i n Clinical Research (Specialisation
in Clinical Trials) for the academic session 202 6-2028 .
B) Course details:
(i) This is a two -year, post ‑graduate degree course co nducted by BRIC -THSTI . The degree will be
awarded by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), recogni sed as an institution of National
Importance by the Parliament of India, established by the De partment of Biotechnology, Ministry
of Science a nd Technology, Government of India with regional and global partnerships
synergi sing with the programs of UNESCO as a Category II Centre
(ii) The course curriculum is enclosed as Annexure -A
(iii) The course will commence in September 15 , 202 6
(iv) Tuition fee: For General category INR 25,000 .00 per semester (there will be four semesters )
For OBC/EWS, the fees will be INR . 18750 .00 per semester , and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates,
the fees will be INR .12500 .00 per semester. In addition to tuition fee , University fees of INR.
5000.00 per semester, and examination fees of INR. 1000 per semester will also be payable
by the students of all category . Those students who wish to avail hostel facilities will have
to pay INR 45000.00 per semester. (v) Facilities:
a. On campus accommodation based on actuals and on payment basis. Mess facility on
payment basis.
b. State -of -the -art campus with many recreational facilities
c. Visit hospitals , industry, and clinical research/trials sites for hands -on training .
d. Internship with academic institutions, industry, research organi sations , etc.
e. Engagement in actual ongoing clinical trials of the institution during the dissertation
period for hands -on training .
f. Support for placements .
g. Possibility of continuing with Ph .D. subject to fulfi ll ment of the THSTI Ph .D. policy .
C) Minimum eligibility criteria : Graduation from a recogni sed university with a minimum of 50%
marks in aggregate in any of the following:
i) Bachelor’s degree in Allopathic Medicine /Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
ii) Bachelor’s degree in other fields of Medicine/ Dentistry/Nursing/Veterinary Science ( BHMS/
BAMS/ BDS/ BSc Nursing/ BVSc )
iii) Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Life Sciences/Statistics/Public Health (B Pharm /BSc (Life
Science) / B Tech)
Note : Candidates awaiting their graduation results can also apply but their candidature will be considered
subject to submission of their graduation result (mark shee t and at least the provisional degree certificate) on
the day of the interview .
D) Filling up of seats:

• Unreserved (UR) - 08 (Eight)
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) (non -creamy layer) - 03 (Three)
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) - 01 (One)
• Scheduled Castes (SC) - 02 (Two)
• Scheduled Tribes ( ST )- 01 (One)
• 4% seats for the differently abled person (Person with Benchmark Disability, PwBD)
are reserved for candidates belonging to these categories.
• SC/ ST/ OBC /EWS candidates are required to submit certificates in respect of their claims
from authorized officers as no tified by the Government for the purpose from time to time.
• The differently abled , (with a minimum of 40% disability) candidates are required to submit
a certificate from authorized Medical Doctors/ Hospitals indicating the extent of their
physical disabi lity .
Please note: Certificates applicable to the reservations must be submitted in accordance to the
format prescribed in the relevant Attachment (A nnexure - 1).
E) Selection process:
Admission will be carried out through a two -stage process comprising a written test followed by an
interview.
I. Shortlisting for Interview : Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their
performance in the written test. To qualify, a candidate must secure:
• Minimum 40% marks in the written test, and
• At least the 60 percentile in the written test
Note: The results of the written test will be declared on the same day as the examination.
II. Relaxation in Criteria : Relaxation in qualifying criteria for the written test may be provided,
if required, as follow s:
5% for OBC candidates
10% for SC/ST candidates
III. Interview Qualifying Criteria : Candidates must obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the interview to be eligible for final selection.
IV. Final Merit : The final merit list will be prepared by considering the combin ed performance
in the written test and the interview.
V. Venue: The written test and interview will be conducted at BRIC -THSTI, Faridabad, Haryana,
India.
VI. Communication : Information regarding syllabus, schedule (date and time), venue, and other
instructions w ill be communicated separately via email to shortlisted candidates prior to the
written test
F) Application process: The eligible and interested candidates must apply online , via the Institute’s

e) Caste / Disability certificate (if applicable) in the format available as the relevant
attachment .
Note:
i. Candidates are required to keep a printout of the online application form by using the print

ii. Providing false/ incorrect information in the application form or non -possession of essential
qualifications detected at any stage of the sel ection process will lead to the disqualification
of the candidate.
iii. Incomplete applications will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be
entertained.

i) During the course, the student must not apply for any other course/ post -graduate program or
appear for any examination or interview outside . If the student has applied for any of the
above before applying for this program , They must provide the relevant information to this
institution at the time of joining .
ii) Candidate must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the
advertisement. If it is found that they do not fulfi ll the stipulated criteria by misinterpretation
General, OBC & EWS candidates Rs 5 90/ - (Inclusive of 18% GST) or any other reason during the selection process, the candidature of the candidate will be
cancel led . If t he same is noticed after the admission, the candidate will be terminated following
due process.
iii) All official communication will be via email . No other mode of communication will be preferred.
iv) All results/ notifications will be published on the THSTI website ; therefore, the candidates must
visit the website regularly till the completion of the admission process.
