We are looking for a highly driven Electronics Engineer to join NID and contribute to the development of cutting-edge embedded systems, instrumentation, automation hardware, and control electronics. You will work across embedded firmware, industrial communication, sensor interfacing, high-precision measurement systems, and electronics for harsh environments, supporting the development of next-generation reactors and advanced hardware that power NoPo’s SWCNT technology.

This role is hands-on, innovation-driven, and ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced deep-tech environments.

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Systems & Firmware

·       Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems (ARM, AVR, ESP32, etc.).

·       Interface sensors, actuators, and peripherals using I2C, SPI, UART protocols.

·       Develop applications on Raspberry Pi and Linux-based embedded platforms (Python/C).

Industrial Communication & Automation

·       Implement and troubleshoot industrial protocols such as:

o   Mod-bus RTU / Mod-bus TCP

o   RS-485, RS-232

·       Work with PLC and DCS systems for data acquisition, monitoring, and control integration.

·       Integrate embedded electronics with industrial automation equipment (sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves).

Electronics Design & Testing

·       Assist in PCB design, schematic review, and basic layout considerations (Altium/KiCad/Eagle preferred).

·       Perform hardware testing and validation using:

o   Oscilloscopes

o   Logic analyzers

o   Multimeters

·       Read and interpret data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, and hardware manuals.

Documentation & Collaboration

·       Prepare technical documentation including design notes, wiring diagrams, test reports, troubleshooting logs, and user manuals.

·       Collaborate with mechanical, software, process, and R&D teams for full system integration.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with live system debugging.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics engineering, embedded systems, industrial automation, or related domains. Strong understanding of micro controllers (ARM, AVR, ESP32, PIC, etc.).

·       Good knowledge of digital/analog electronics and basic electrical engineering principles.

·       Hands-on experience with I2C, SPI, UART protocols.

·       Experience with Raspberry Pi, GPIOs, Linux systems, and Python/C programming.

·       Practical understanding of Mod-bus RTU/TCP, RS-485, RS-232, and industrial communication wiring.

·       Ability to interface electronics with PLC/DCS systems.

·       Ability to read schematics, data sheets, wiring diagrams effectively.

·       Familiarity with PCB tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) is preferred.

·       Experience using multi meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers for system-level debugging.

Soft Skills

·       A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision.

·       Strong ability to hustle and get things done, even in ambiguous environments.

·       Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Benefits

·       The opportunity to build never-seen-before hardware systems.

·       Work with best-in-class global customers developing cutting-edge products in EV batteries, semiconductors, advanced filtration, and polymer applications.
