Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Engineer (Electronic Board Test Engineer) responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality of electronic assemblies and PCB boards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing test procedures, identifying issues at the board and component level, and supporting continuous improvement in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform functional and in-circuit testing (ICT) of assembled electronic boards (PCBs).
• Troubleshoot and analyze defective boards to identify root causes (component-level and circuit-level).
• Prepare and maintain test procedures, checklists, and quality records.
• Work closely with the R&D and production teams to resolve technical issues and implement design-for-test (DFT) improvements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating test setups and jigs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of test equipment and instruments.
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for better yield and efficiency.
• Train technicians and operators on test processes and quality inspection techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics field.
• 2–5 years of experience in PCB assembly testing or electronics production environment.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Hands-on experience with test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with ESD handling, soldering/rework practices, and PCB schematics reading.
• Experience in using automated test equipment (ATE) or functional test jigs is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
