SkyServe is sensor agnostic "Insights-as-a-Service" edge computing platform on-board satellites, providing inferences to industries, system integrator, and geospatial developers.\n\nAs the Product Owner for SSA, you’ll own the full product lifecycle, from vision and strategy to delivery and iteration. You’ll bridge cross-functional teams: engineering, space data scientists, MOD users, and external partners. Your mission: build a world-class space situational awareness platform that provides strategic customers actionable insight into satellite tracking, risk management, and space asset security.\n\nOwn the product lifecycle end-to-end - from concept, design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.\n\nDefine product success metrics, KPIs, and operational performance benchmarks for mission-critical applications.\n\nDrive technical architecture decisions in collaboration with engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.\n\nBalance mission needs, technical feasibility, timelines, and resource constraints while making product decisions.\n\nTranslate complex defence operational requirements into actionable technical specifications and system capabilities.\n\nEnsure compliance with Indian defence info security and export control regulations.\n\nLead product demonstrations, validation exercises, and mission trials with stakeholders.\n\nManage product risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines across cross-functional teams.\n\nDrive continuous product improvement through data-driven insights, field feedback, and operational performance analysis.\n\nBuild, mentor, and groom a high-performing product/engineering team while providing technical guidance.\n\nDrive documentation, demos, and training materials for internal teams and clients.\n\nDefine go-to-deployment strategy and support operational rollout for mission environments.\n\nStay updated on emerging space, defence, and geospatial AI technologies to inform product innovation\n\n5+ years as a product owner/manager - 10+ years experience preferably in aerospace, defence, or geospatial analytics.\n\nStrong understanding of satellite tracking, orbital mechanics, and space situational awareness concepts.\n\nExperience working in agile, fast-paced environments with multi-disciplinary teams.\n\nExcellent collaboration, communication & stakeholder management skills.\n\nPassion for solving complex, high-impact defence challenges.\n\nExperience with space mission software, astrodynamics, edge computing, ISRO/DRDO interfaces, or classified environments
