We are looking for an experienced and talented quality engineer to help us in significantly scale our products for a large consumer base. You should have a solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, scripting languages and system testing. You will also be responsible for understanding and evolving product requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Define test strategy and test plans for our large portfolio of products.
2. Automate testing of products and codebases.
3. Manually test and evaluate our products which cannot be automated.
4. Understand and enhance our product requirements.
5. Iterate and evolve test scenarios
6. Identify use cases with developers and clients and communicate effectively with the team
7. Should also be able to put effort in integration of modules and testing.
8. Follow up on bugs with developers and ensure bugs are fixed before delivery
9. Should be able to communicate cross-functionality and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
Qualifications:
1. B. Tech/M.Tech/BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
2. 2+ years of experience as quality assurance engineer, or SDET
3. Knowledgeable in at least one programming or scripting language
4. Experience in extensive integration testing
5. Experience in designing, implementing and running test cases
6. Manual testing of products
7. General familiarity with common software development and integration practices
8. Outstanding communication, presentation, reporting and interpersonal skills
