Strong knowledge of composite material behaviour, resin systems, and ply design strategies
Hands-on experience with coupon testing, defect resolution, and process optimization
Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with AS9100D, MIL-STD, and DGCA guidelines
Documentation: Ability to generate compliance reports, certification dossiers, and audit-ready documentation
Innovation: Exposure to emerging composite technologies (nano-composites, hybrid laminates)
Collaboration: Experience working with certification agencies and external suppliers

* Material Testing & Characterization
* Perform and analyse tensile, shear, and flexural tests
* Execute coupon testing programs and statistical data analysis
* Process Development & Optimization
* Optimize resin infusion processes, cure cycles, and mold/plug design
* Improve resin flow and infusion quality for repeatability and reliability
* Quality & Defect Resolution
* Identify and resolve defects such as delamination, porosity, and dry spots
* Review and refine ply drop-off strategies for structural integrity
* Documentation & Manufacturing Control
* Generate process route cards and work instructions
* Support adhesive bonding processes and validation
* Analyse environmental degradation (UV, moisture, temperature) and its impact on composites
* Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with DO-160, ASTM standards, and aerospace certification frameworks
* Innovation: Exposure to advanced composites (carbon nanotube reinforcements, hybrid laminates)
* Reliability Engineering: Experience in fatigue, durability, and lifecycle analysis of composite structures
* Leadership: Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead supplier/vendor discussions
