Preferred Experience 5–7 years of experience in UAV flight testing, piloting, and system validation
Exposure to flight dynamics, control systems, and UAV operations
Hands-on experience with environmental flight testing (wind, altitude, temperature)
Required Skill Sets & Tools* **Autopilot:** ArduPilot, PX4
* **GCS:** Mission Planner, QGroundControl
* **Data Analysis:** MATLAB, MS Excel, Python
* **Flight Log Tools:** Flight Review or equivalent
Qualifications Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering or related field
Key Responsibility Areas* **Flight Testing & Execution**
* Conduct advanced manual flight operations (fixed-wing, multirotor, tailsitter)
* Execute test cards and structured flight test plans
* Perform environmental testing (wind, altitude, temperature)
* Ensure compliance with DGCA/CEMILAC flight test directives and safety protocols
* **Control & Performance Tuning**
* Execute PID/control loop tuning and advanced control strategies for stability and mission performance
* Perform IC engine calibration (carburetor / EFI tuning in-flight)
* Evaluate propulsion system performance and efficiency
* **Data Analysis & Telemetry**
* Analyze flight logs and telemetry data using MATLAB and flight log tools (e.g., Flight Review)
* Identify anomalies, performance gaps, and trends
* Develop automated post-flight analysis scripts and generate structured test reports for certification
* **Ground Systems & Integration**
* Operate and configure Ground Control Stations (Mission Planner, QGroundControl)
* Support payload and mission system integration across datalink and GCS platforms
* Assist in mission system validation and operational readiness
