Hands-on experience with UAV or aerospace propulsion systems

Key Responsibility Areas
* Component Selection & Characterization
* Perform motor and ESC selection and characterization
* Select and configure battery packs (Li-Po, Li-Ion)
* Conduct dynamometer and thrust testing
* Power & Energy Management
* Develop power consumption profiles across take-off, cruise, and hover
* Optimize energy usage and efficiency for extended endurance
* Battery & BMS Integration
* Integrate Battery Management Systems (BMS)
* Ensure cell balancing, safety monitoring, and thermal protection
* Electrical Integration
* Design high-current wiring and connector specifications
* Ensure robust power distribution systems
* Thermal & EMI/EMC Management
* Implement active and passive cooling strategies
* Mitigate EMI/EMC issues from ESCs and high-current systems
* ICE Systems
* Perform engine tuning and EFI calibration for ICE-based propulsion systems
* Support hybrid propulsion integration where applicable
