As a Mid senior Level Manufacturing engineer -
Configuration management, you will be responsible for Configuration management
of Aircraft in As-built condition for eVTOL airframes prototype manufacturing
& assembly integration. The candidate will be responsible for change
processes for manufacturing and engineering documentation & automating the
change processes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of
Aircraft configurations and associated data.
- Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely configuration
management of all aircrafts in as-built condition.
- Implement and maintain
configuration control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with
industry standards and company policies.
- Analyze and resolve
configuration discrepancies and issues, working closely with engineering,
manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Utilize industry best practices
to continuously improve the configuration management process and promote
efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits to
ensure data accuracy and completeness, identifying and rectifying any
discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain
configuration documentation, including engineering change orders, bills of
material, and other related documents.
- Stay up to date with industry
trends and advancements in configuration management tools and techniques.
- Communicate and collaborate
with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure a clear
understanding of configuration management processes and procedures.
- Awareness on Aircraft change
process like MOD Process, Change Requests, EQNs would be an advantage
- DMU understanding and
navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.
- Knowledge on Aircraft build
process // Good understanding of Aircraft Function, Operation &
Processes.
- Excellent Project Management
& stakeholder Management skills to drive the performance KPIs &
improvements proactively.
- Experience with Excel,
PowerPoint / Google suite & PLM
- Adhere to
project timelines and budgets and quality of output.
- Basic knowledge on cost
estimation & time study of project execution.
- Basic
knowledge on Lean Six sigma practices.
- Basic
knowledge on QMS, QC tools & Metrology
- Basic
knowledge on GD&T, Fits & assembly
Qualifications:
- Diploma or
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or any related field.
- Work
experience in 2+ years in Configuration management / Technical publication
in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity
with aircraft build sequences & WBS.
