As
a Mid senior Level Manufacturing engineer - Supply chain engineering, you will
be responsible for MBOM creation, providing technical inputs to SCM for Make
items for metallic detail parts & tooling outsourced for eVTOL airframes
prototype manufacturing & assembly integration. The candidate will be
responsible for interacting with vendors and cross functional teams in realization
of metallic detail parts & tooling.
Roles
& responsibilities
- Develops Manufacturing Bill of materials &
Condition of supply (SOW) and sequencing of events to support delivery
commitments with SCM , SQA & Suppliers.
- Reviews and maintains various suppliers’
manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and
illustrations to define and document as-built configuration for metallic
parts, tooling outsourced to vendors.
- Collaborate with internal and
external organizations to ensure Design requirements have been flowed down
and incorporated at our suppliers and partners.
- Ensure that our suppliers and
partners are compliant with their internal processes. Collaborates with
teams in the development, analysis, management and compliance verification
of process and product baselines of complex products.
- Defines, plans, coordinates and
conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits
for new and derivative products.
- Contributes to the development
and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards,
processes and tools.
- Defines and allocates
Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware,
software and engineering design data systems throughout the product
lifecycle.
- Coordinates the integration of
product elements and analyzes & resolves issues with engineering
product structure.
- Develops, integrates and
implements engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks
and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering
functions.
- Develops and integrates
suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing
and delivery requirements & regulatory agency requirements.
- Develops tooling requirements
based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
- Manages part development &
tools development from initial design to end of use disposition.
- Investigates and resolves
manufacturing related issues (Supplier EQNs) at supplier end.
- Performs productivity
assessments for part or product designs at concept design stage of parts
& tooling for aircraft.
- Provides productivity input to
design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet
cost and schedules.
- Support New Product
Introduction (NPI), continuous improvement activities, and lean/Six Sigma
initiatives.
- Experience with Excel,
PowerPoint / Google suite & PLM
- Adhere to
project timelines and budgets and quality of output.
- Basic knowledge on cost
estimation & time study of project execution.
- Basic
knowledge on Lean Six sigma practices.
- Basic
knowledge on QMS, QC tools & Metrology
- Basic
knowledge on GD&T, Fits & assembly
