Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in drone design, development, and integration. The candidate should have strong knowledge of UAV structures, propulsion systems, materials, and field testing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop drone frames, payload mounts, landing gear, and structural components
  • Work on propulsion integration (motors, propellers, ESC mounting, vibration isolation)
  • Perform CAD modeling (SolidWorks/Fusion 360) and generate manufacturing drawings
  • Conduct structural analysis and basic FEA
  • Oversee prototyping, fabrication, and assembly of UAV systems
  • Perform flight testing support and failure analysis
  • Optimize weight, strength, and aerodynamics
  • Coordinate with electronics and software teams for system integration​


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of composites, aluminum alloys, and lightweight materials
  • Understanding of aerodynamics and UAV stability principles
  • Experience with DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up
  • Hands-on experience with carbon fiber structures
  • Familiarity with LiDAR/payload mounting integration is a plus
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, 3D printing, sheet metal)​


Qualification:

  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in drone/UAV industry is mandatory


Preferred:

  • Experience in logistics or surveillance drones
  • Experience handling field trials and crash analysis
