Primary Role/Scope of Job:

• Perform verification for high-speed FPGA digital design using UVM/OVM for complex mathematical and control logic algorithms.

• Full testing of FPGA design which include testing of complete design with PS.

• Defining verification methodology and creating entire testing environment.

• Develop verification and test documents, participate in micro architecture reviews and complete the RTLdesign, verification, synthesis, timing verification closure.

• Generating the component requirements and specifications for code coverage.

• Defining top-level architecture as well as micro architecture for detailed implementation and testing.

• Developing Verilog/VHDL code.

• Building a test bench in different environments for self-checking verification.

• Modelling of IP to verify RTL functionality vs. requirements.

• Performing detailed synthesis, timing analysis, and analysis of system level functionality.

• Contributing to internal design reviews to ensure adherence to the company ASIC and FPGA design process and methodology in addition to reviews with customers to make sure requirements are being met and also risks and opportunities are properly identified and addressed.

• Support lab evaluations and debug activities including board level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.

• Work with software team to implement changes required by the driver.

• Modify the design for future features in the FPGA.

• Understand over-all chip power save modes and external system requirement.

• Evaluate system-level performance in simulation, in FPGA emulation platform. 


Experience and Expertise Required:

• 3+yearsof relevant experience

• Acknowledge Xilinx FPGA implementation and tools.

• Strong knowledge of SVM/UVM/OVM environment.

• Knowledge on state-of-the-art tools and flows.

• Sound Knowledge of logic design and RTL implementation

• Board level testing to validate RTL design.

• Verification Test Documentation

• Experienced with VHDL(desirable)

• Active participation in internal Design Reviews (desirable)

• Interfaces like Ethernet- 100/1000 Mbps, PCIE 2.0, SPI, UART etc Job Requirements

• Knowledge of ASIC and/or FPGA design methodology and should be well versed in front end design,simulation, and verification CAD tools.

• Knowledge onrelevant FPGA/ASIC engineering design and verification experience. •Excellent verbal, written and communication skills are required.

• Excellent follow-through, motivation, and persistence

• Strong technical judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge ofdigital board design and signal integrity principles is a plus
